Growing up in Southern California, Jones Authenik knew at an early age that he wanted to make music. He started started writing his own at the age of 10 and recorded himself on an old handheld tape recorder. It wasn't until after he moved to the Pacific Northwest that Jones decided to pursue music as a career at the age of 17.
